I bought extra fine mesh bags to fill with activated charcoal and Marineland crystal mix. The intention was to place the bags on our boat and also in our laundry room where we place the litter box. We wanted to make DIY odor control bags to save a few bucks. The neutralizing crystal blend in combination with these packs does an excellent job of neutralizing the odor of cat boxes and instantly removes "boat smell" from inside the boat. I was hoping that the ultra-fine mesh would prevent the black coal dust from escaping the bags, but there's still a dust leak. I just fill the pouches over the sink and set them on a towel to use. The pouches are spacious, easy to fill, and durable, even with large, odd-shaped crystals. good value
