Review on BEAMTECH 5202 CSP LED Fog Light Bulb H16 (European Type) - 6500K Xenon White, 800 Lumens, Ultra Bright by Trevor French

Excellent replacement bulbs for 5202. They are brighter than the factory but not enough to make fog lights redundant. Pretty good line of demarcation, they would have been better but there was water in my fog light housings so the chrome is a little misty in places. They only drew about 0.55 amps at 11.47 volts, that's 6.3 watts (more or less, I couldn't find my good voltmeter at the time), the old lamp drew 1.55 amps at the same 11.47 volts, i.e. 17.77 watts. I bought these because my light bulb burned out and the 5202 is about $22 each and I figured it might as well be. So far I'm very happy with it, I've only worn it for 2 weeks. As several reviews have said, they are a bit difficult to fit into the case, but I put a dab of axle grease on the o-ring and around the inside of the case and it slid very easily and smoothly. And like other reviews, the plastic clips are a little flimsy, but if you use lube like I do, that's not a problem and they stay in place well. I would recommend them if you want a good cut off with good light output and still want to use your fog lights as fog lights. And I'd like something a little brighter than the factory ones. Or if you have LED headlights and want to customize them. I have yet to target them. But I have attached some photos of the color difference, fog lights with and without headlights and some pictures of the product next to the factory 5202 and packaging. I will update if anything negative happens or if I remember later. Update 11/23/19 They still work fine. My fog lights are wired as DRLs so they are always on when the truck is moving. Still very happy with them, especially for the price of one of the OEM bulbs.
