I have used Honest Amish Beard Balm and Oil with very good results on a medium length beard. Although I'm not a big fan of the scent. A kind of saddle for me and the oil made my skin shine. I tried the Bluebeard Beard Wash and it definitely cleaned my beard but didn't strengthen it. So I tried Anthony's beard conditioner, huge difference. It's also a winning scent. So I thought, Bluebeard's unscented beard rescuer might be the right alternative. This will undoubtedly get rid of any itching issues, but it doesn't last. I still have to use Amish beard balm with this one. I also bought the unscented version on purpose and would like to buy the regular version which people think smells like lemon. This one has a strange smell. It's not chemical or "scented," just mechanical, if that makes sense. It's not strong, but it's there, and since it only works for itchiness, I won't recommend it. I'm still looking for the right combination for me.
