Durable yes. Wrong? Also yes. I thought its construction would make it more stable than straight legs, but I was wrong. Even when I just wanted to rest my legs, he would lean over and lose his balance. My toddler was dying to sit on it and would lean one way or the other every time he tried. Even when I tried to sit on it while playing, I lost my balance. At home we use carpets, thin and thick, and none of the surfaces are suitable for such a design. Not to mention the wooden floor. I ended up knocking out the legs and sealing the bottom of the box with duct tape since the wooden parts were chipping from beating out the legs. After that it was perfect for our use as no one fell off the chair.
