    Disappointed in the company Barbus - the siphon is not working

    I bought a hand pump after my aquarium leaked. Before that, I used an ordinary tube to replace water, but I was already tired of sucking air out of it and I decided to buy something more civilized. As a result, I bought a Barbus A 031 siphon. I chose a manual siphon to clean the bottom. Its length is 172 cm, at the end, which falls into the water, there is a mesh. I read about it before buying and was glad that not one of the shrimp would end up in a bucket for mopping the floor. Yep, dreaming.

    Works perfectly! - Gravel Cleaners

    Just bought this for my 10 gallon tank. It was very dirty with lots of rubbish in the gravel. I'm a new aquarium owner so I'm learning as I go. This vacuum cleaner worked great! I followed the instructions and after a double press the water came out as did the debris on the bottom. I wish I had it sooner! I know my fish will be happier. I highly recommend this product.

    Great purchase from Fish & Aquatic Pets

    Love this siphon! This makes water changes so much easier, I no longer have to shake the siphon up and down and upset the entire tank. It only takes a few clicks to get started. Suction is good, strong enough to pick up large debris but leaves the sandy bottom untouched (unless you stick it in). I've only used it once, but it seems sturdy and well made. This is a good size for my 20 gallon tank.

    Poor quality for gravel cleaner

    Only does water. Internal filters block everything that enters the tube. The suction power is so low that the dirt from the bottom of the tank is not removed. Taking it apart and just using the hose works ten times better than the entire device. Save your money and spend it on a quality siphon cleaner. I wish I had used it before and could return it!

    It sucks in a good way

    Works great. The product had a strong rubber smell from the bag. I washed it with dish soap before use and it helped remove the smell. The suction pump works. You can control the water flow by squeezing the hose with your hand. garbage is shit. Be sure to check the water bucket for animals that have accidentally been sucked in. Watch the YouTube aquarium event "How to Vacuum up Gravel and Clean the Sponge Filter Properly" for tips on using a gravel cleaner.

    Not sure what it's designed for. There's a weird filter screen that blocks almost any dirt from going through the pipe. Removing this liner will improve water flow significantly, however, there is now a problem with the length of the stiffest siphon tube: it is too short for the gravel that has accumulated to settle back into the aquarium floor.     Works great! I accidentally swallowed one of my angelfish! She's fine, but I was angry.     Works but has a design flaw

    Yes the product works but the design is terrible. The primer tip is at the end of the tubing. So you either need two people or long arms to start refueling. My old one had a filler ball about a foot down from the suction tube and then a hose that went to the bucket. I had to cut the hose in half and put the primer closer to the top.
