I am sure this product will be great for children over 1 year old. However, my granddaughter is only 6 months old and weighs 22 pounds. (strong kid). Therefore, when wearing this device, she would either dip her nose in the water or move backwards if not held. The description says "baby" but also refers to a child. Perhaps it should include actual age. We're keeping the product so she can use it one day.
