Seen and ordered someone with the same float too. It's much easier than an air float and gives the child more freedom to float safely.

I ordered this item for my 5 year old nephew and it fits him perfectly. But they ripped a bit after wearing them for the first time. I would not buy this item again due to its cost and it will rip the first time you wear it. Because this item is made for young children and for life and death safety, the stitching needs to be stronger.

The vest itself is excellent. Doesn't reach my son's chin when he's in the water. Parts of the arm dangle rather loosely from his small arms. It is at the lower limit of the recommended weight. I made a quick stitch at the top of the torso on each arm and attached it to the vest straps. They seemed to have done their job to keep her from falling so low!

We bought it for 4 years after seeing all the kids use the same life jackets in the pool. It works a lot better than the plastic inflatable floats we've used before. I didn't feel safe with them. Even with this swimmer I always have to be on my guard. But at least I have more common sense. I chose orange because of better visibility. So far we have been very satisfied.

I am sure this product will be great for children over 1 year old. However, my granddaughter is only 6 months old and weighs 22 pounds. (strong kid). Therefore, when wearing this device, she would either dip her nose in the water or move backwards if not held. The description says "baby" but also refers to a child. Perhaps it should include actual age. We're keeping the product so she can use it one day.

My son is 13 months old, 23lbs, 85% tall so not a little guy. It's a bit big for him. For now we're just using the best part and not bothering to put his arms through the wings of his arms because they just fall off and the problem is he loses his balance. I also wish there was a way to tighten it up in the upper back so I can add velcro or something like that to make sure the best part is snug. But other aspects are great - he can't undo the latches on his own.

I bought 2 of these because I liked that they were said to be made for £22-66. although it's a bit too big where the flotation device goes around the gun. After wearing it on her first walk by the lake, our 15 month old granddaughter reached for it to put it back on and ripped her arm off. I bought the second one at the same time as the first, wore it a second or third time, the strap on my leg was fraying and almost came off. The idea is great, the product is nothing more than satisfactory.
