Review on 🔧 Tenma 21 8230 Soldering Desoldering Tweezers: Precision Tools for Efficient Soldering and Desoldering by Sean Maples

If you think you can solder SMD parts, you're wrong. It won't happen, period! I expected the tips to be a quarter of what they were. So big that I laughed out loud when I saw them. The peaks do not meet (peak to peak) even with many rotations and tweaks. I tried to use them for their intended purpose so I can say I did in this review. But after trying them, I just threw them in the trash. It's too cheap to play around with yields, and here it's useless. However, after soldering some 806 resistors wrong, I found that this iron can be used to heat both sides of any two point remover. Very convenient in this regard, it was not necessary to heat the device with hot air for a small handful of parts. I'm not sure I would buy it for that reason, but it's worth considering. When it came out I hated this thing so much I wouldn't even admit I bought it with a bad review. But after only using it a few times to remove small components I have to admit it can be helpful!
