First you look at this selfie stick and tripod combo and wonder what makes it so special from all the other items available at Revain. First of all I can tell you that this tripod is indeed strong enough to support the weight of the Canon 70D. I don't think this is a direct attribution, but with a 15-85mm lens it definitely held up! I wouldn't recommend using the full length of the pole if you are using a DSLR as there is no stability there, but a lower extension (in the middle) would be fine. It is definitely more suitable for cell phones, GoPro or smaller cameras like mirrorless design. In short, this is a great option when you need a quick photo and a traditional selfie stick just won't work for a group photo. The remote is designed to be used with Bluetooth, and for me I used a Samsung Galaxy S10 to test the remote (it doesn't work with other cameras as they use an infrared connection). Hooking it up was very quick and easy, although I would recommend making sure the remote is charged before use. Simply pressing and holding the remote will put it into pairing mode, which is indicated on the remote with a simple flashing blue light. The nice thing is that this remote comes with an on/off slider so you don't kill the dough when you're not using it. I can't tell you how long the battery lasts, but it's easy enough to charge with the included micro USB cable. If you don't have one, they're pretty standard for Android smartphones. The design of the device is very well done, it is made of aluminum, which has to withstand some loads. The non-slip feet on the bottom of the tripod are comfortable to the touch and allow you to use it indoors for simple tasks like live streaming or video with the front camera. It also comes with a nice carry case and is very portable. To be honest I will use it as a quick set for videos shot with my phone! I think that's the best use, and the ability to increase height is an added bonus. For the price it's definitely worth it and I recommend it!
