Works well when fitted with silicone adhesive

I read in another review that this blind spot mirror was lost in a car wash and I find it very easy to believe. The adhesive on this mirror is terrible and I was able to easily peel it off the mount with my fingers. I chose the Gorilla Clear Grip silicone adhesive because it sticks really well, stays under the elements and removes with a little effort. The glue worked pretty well and this blind spot mirror is now securely in place. Below left. I chose the top of the right mirror then bought the left side so I have a matching set. I installed them as far away from my existing mirror as possible so they wouldn't protrude from the frame of the original mirror. Then I adjusted both blind spot mirrors to the widest possible outside angle. This works best for me because I have the stock standard vision mirrors and then these blind spot mirrors capture, well, blind spots. Both work well in tandem. I believe the mirrors are glass and they are crystal clear. The black body is actually a darker, darker brown and doesn't quite match the true black of my car's original mirrors. Overall I really like them but I strongly recommend that you develop your own method of attachment as I believe without a special solution like silicone glue they will fall in the car wash. I would not recommend Krazy Glue because if something happens to these mirrors you will have a hard time getting them off.
