Definitely better product than many similar sets sold on Amazon today - the wood is thicker and the mechanism is more durable. However, if you've been thinking about putting it together with someone else, forget it. It requires gluing each sprocket together with its corresponding cogs on a template made from a watch case, and you can only make one cog at a time, meaning it's a 'hurry up and wait twelve hours' type project . I was hoping to do this with Grandpa but it's just not worth it as you tape a piece to the stencil, wait at least 12 hours, then spend 10 minutes on the next one and so on.
