When I moved my office I wanted a desk to edit audio and transcribe my 50 year old record collection. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a boomer. But why throw away records? The problem was that simply placing the table top on top of the two safes holding my negative Boomer era safes didn't work as they didn't even sit across from each other making the table vibrate. I did some digging and found these pads. Two safes about as deep as the countertop and 8 spacers (two sets later) and I was done. The cushioning is ideal for keeping the table level and firm (no wobble) and absorbing vibrations. That's what I use them for and they're perfect. The material feels firm, a little "soft" but strong enough to support a table.
