Advantages: Very small, easy to pick up, side switch to pick up. I like it because when you turn it on, the device records and doesn't turn on until you turn it off. A switch works better than a button because you can accidentally press the button and accidentally stop recording. This device feels great in hand, looks great and I just love it. This is the best audio recorder I have ever used compared to other recorders for similar purposes. I'm not comparing this to Rode's high end filming gear, although I'm considering using it for filming due to its size and price to test it out. If I can hook up a lavalier mic to this thing it's going to be an amazing device. Cons: There is a small area below the screen on the screen that feels imperfect, it may have been assembled incorrectly, but it doesn't interfere with the display of the screen, just takes away from the aesthetics. Apart from this small blemish, I didn't notice any other disadvantages.
