Milwaukee's new "Big Hawg" drill will cut through wood 2x fast. Much more aggressive than a hole saw, these cutters are also far more durable. Three caveats: You need a "real" drill bit to work with large Big Hawgs. Milwaukee does not recommend cordless drills. Even many corded drills may not be up to the task. Milwaukee recommends only larger, right-angle drill bits. Another piece of missing information: you need a gazebo to use the Big Hawg. Even if you have a Milwaukee gazebo, the literature suggests a different pilot attachment. After all, these cutters are only suitable for wood. They are not designed to cut metal. Big Hawgs are for people who drill lots of big holes on a regular basis. They work very well. Just understand that you need a powerful drill, and there is no mandrel in the milling cutter. Great tool!
