Great quality at a great price

We were looking for a wide collar for our cute rescue pit because narrower collars slip off our heads too easily. Our search started at a local pet store, where most of the wide collars looked like they were made for guard dogs, which of course isn't for our Lily (hugs are her favorite activity). We settled on the only option we found that didn't look like it was intended for a dog about to rip your leg off, a woven canvas collar with a pretty printed plastic buckle. This went on for several months because although she may be cute, she is also strong and when it comes to squirrels she tends to be more into chasing than cuddling. As you might have guessed, the buckle broke. So in search of a replacement we decided to go online (which I sometimes hesitate with products like this because it helps to touch and feel the quality). We chose this collar based on the positive reviews and it was the perfect choice. In terms of value, it wasn't much more than a leash collar that wouldn't close, but the feel of the quality makes me believe this collar will be with us for a long time. I like the thick padding because it's easy on the neck when she's chasing the squirrel and dragging us through the garden. There is also a small metal charm loop on one side of the collar - it doesn't show up in the product photos but it's nice because the charm doesn't snag on the buckle. They did that to her old collar and she chewed through the tag because of it. The way her day hangs on that noose, she never messes with it. I also like the color of her light brindle color - it is very consistent with what is pictured. I think this collar will last a long time but when she finally wears it off I hope this collar is still available as a replacement!
