They look great as part of a costume. They were two or three inches above my elbow. Although they balled up a bit, they didn't fall off all night and appeared to be of relatively good quality. The toes were well adjusted and not boxy like some other brands. I have small hands so I think they would be even better for someone with big hands. I had to iron the crease in the middle of the gloves, but that's due to the packaging. They survived the rest of the night without any problems. The satin sheen is definitely there, but not too cheap. I wouldn't wear it to a wedding but for costumes and fun nights out it was a great choice!
