Review on πŸ“» PAC RP5-GM32: Advanced Radio Replacement Interface for GM LAN Vehicles with OnStar Retention & Steering Wheel Control + Navigation Output by Henry Johnston

Doesn't work as advertised

The instructions for the rp5-gm32 are horrible and don't have a diagram showing the wire pinouts. The instructions state that the blue wire is not used, but in fact the blue wire is needed to drive the factory Bose amp. Also, and this is a big issue, there's no cable to power the rear camera. The instructions say this kit supports rear camera, but no rear camera + instruction to the head unit to display the image from the rear camera. I had to rummage around under the dash for a long time to find the rear wire + and connect it to it.

Pros
  • Will hold OnStar when replacing factory radio
Cons
  • Crumpled
