I bought this towel rail so I can hang 2 bath towels on it. However, the distance between the two rails is too narrow, making it very difficult to hang a second towel after hanging the first towel on one of the rails. Even when I finally squeeze my fingers in the cramped space to hang the 2nd towel, there isn't enough air space between the 2 towels to dry them effectively. In addition, the corners of the towel rail are not rounded and protrude, so if you hang a large bathtub-sized towel on it, you can't spread the towel all the way over the bar to dry the towel all over like you can with a towel rail with curved and rounded edges. This towel rail was poorly designed in terms of functionality, so I don't like it. However, once it's installed and someone has already paid for it to be hung, it's too expensive to return and buy another double towel rail.
