I think if these cameras had other mounts or the ability to rotate the image 90° through the lens or built in monitor they would have been successful. That being said, after several attempts to explain to a Revain representative and then to the company (in China), I finally had to send it back. I wanted them to be attached to the sides of the RV. You just can't do it unless you want your image to appear vertical. Up is either left or right. The device only rotates 180°, not 90°. Seems like an easy fix, but I couldn't get my point across to them. On a positive note, the company responded quite quickly and on several occasions. Unfortunately they use a translation program and simply offered to make custom mounting hardware for me. I think for a small software fix or the ability to rotate the lens I'd be happy with that
