This screen replacement includes the home button, front camera, metal cover, light sensor, etc., everything that is on the front of the iPhone, so there is no need to transfer these elements from your broken iPhone on this screen. This saves a lot of detailed work. *But* if you want Touch ID to work, you'll need to migrate your old home button. This just involves removing a few screws and isn't a big deal. The exchange worked great! The daughter is very happy that she only had to pay for a screen replacement and that dad can do the work. The tools provided are great. I'm only deducting one star because the instructions in the box were very limited. The instructions on the Revain product page were much better. Luckily I had previous experience with a screen replacement from a previously purchased kit that had amazing instructions but the screen was faulty.
