Installed on Becket's Oil Stove

I needed a way to estimate fuel oil usage without having to go outside and submerge the tank(s) (one has a gauge but it's not very good). Since my oven uses a 1 gallon per hour nozzle, it would help me keep track of the hours that the burner was on. I used to have another thermostat where I used a filter clock (heating mode only); However, this Wi-Fi thermostat also has a random fan circulation mode, which I like, so I can't use its filter tracking mode to track oil. The meter comes with no wires, I had some spade terminals handy and crimped, I placed the meter somewhere easy to read and ran about 5 feet of wire to the Beckett's control panel, I connected one wire to the W terminal (white - heater) and one to terminal G (black - ground). First I checked in advance with a multimeter whether they would work and turned off the heating. Everything is installed and working as expected. I'm using a 24V AC connection, so polarity doesn't matter. The manual in the box says you can use 880VAC or DC and 110-240VAC, I doubt the latter as the Revain info doesn't mention it.
