Each 10" diameter, 1/4" thick circle is ground and ready to use. I have purchased this product many times and have made nice rounds every time. 10 rounds are normally individually wrapped in bubble wrap and in a very strong cardboard box. This time all 10 were in a clear plastic bag and in a gray postal bag and luckily none of the wooden cartridges were damaged and as I kept the previous box I put them in this one. I'm doing fluid art on YouTube showing these wooden circles and how well they are packaged. These cartridges are so durable that they were carried in a bag and thankfully weren't damaged.
