Be careful which processor you buy. Mine shipped with the first version of BIOS version F1. Search Gigabyte on the website and see if your CPU is compatible with F1 BIOS. Just assume it's not updated. Please try, I've done it and lets just say my 5600G doesn't show the power button, doesn't respond to shutdown even when held down with no splash screen even when the monitor was detected. I actually made the mistake of setting up a refund and ordering another one before thinking about the CPU issue. So it's time to test, yes I had to buy a processor from the AMD 3000G F1 category, the cheapest I could find for the new generation at $104 and this edition is newer than the 220GE at the same price. It worked without any problems, the bios updated to the latest version and currently in use and my 5600G is waiting for a slightly newer version of the mainboard PCIE 4.0 and USB 3.2 instead of PCIE 3.0 and USB3.1 in short I made the choice only my old one Upgrading computers for sale instead of promoting my new build due to CPU compatibility issues. I couldn't imagine returning something that isn't buggy and was only used to fix a bios issue. As an aside I have to return an unopened motherboard for a replacement and I spent another $40 to upgrade my old computer for RAM and my old computer was 6 years old and should have been scrapped anyway and I'm going to sell it for around $400 . Level of difference the case is still in good shape. The upgrade cost about $220, and the processor and memory are upgradable for the person who buys the computer.
