were in my dining room. . I also liked the fact that they "should" remain in the seat with no ties. When I received them they were beautiful, perfect color and seemed very strong. The first problem I had was that they wouldn't "stay adjusted" in the type of chair I had. My chairs had woven straw seats, the small grip points were not effective at all. I wish they came with ties so that wouldn't be a problem. One of our cats liked to sleep on one of the stools and ended up falling off the chair, pillow and all. Finally, I sewed a strong velcro onto the back of the pillow and glued the other side of the velcro to the seat. I noticed that the description says the pillows are easy to clean, but since they don't have a zipper, they can't really be washed. Spot cleaning is good for a few things, but my daughter's cat actually "puked" on one of the pillows when she was only two months old. Spot cleaning didn't help. My advice if you're going to keep them for a while, spend a little more and get some washable zippered cushions. It will be 5 apart from these two issues.
