Bass: Bass starts to thin around 70-80Hz but is somewhat audible up to around 50Hz, after which it becomes almost silent. There is a peak around 100Hz where I think the speaker is trying to sound bassier than it really is. still a bit confusing compared to something like the R2000DB which sounds pretty clean throughout the bass. Mid: This is probably the best feature of these speakers. Center forward and clear. Vocals sound clean and clear. The snare drums sound very tight with a good punch. Treble: The treble is relaxed, with some detail but not shrill at all. The guitar intro on The Chain - Fleetwood Mac sounded pretty good, detailed and controlled. Built-in Amplifier: The built-in amplifier can make it loud enough for a desktop computer. I don't think I would use them for a large room, maybe a smaller room as an alternative to a soundbar. The sound coming from them is clear, there is no audible distortion, the sound has very good separation giving a decent soundstage.
