Review on OAKI Purple Rubber Boots for Toddler Boys – Ideal Footwear for Outdoor Activities by Leon Johnsson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better rubber boots than the looped version.

I've been buying Oaki clothes for my kids for a number of years after we fell in love with their raincoats. However, they are not my favorites. I will say that this style of book is probably my favorite that I bought because of the durability. I like velcro boots because the prints are cuter and it's easier for my kids to put them on by themselves. However, they break/break SO EASILY! The straps break every pair we've ever had because of that tear at the front of the ankle. They don't have hinges, though, so breakage is clearly not an issue. So far we've had these boots for a few months and the ankle area hasn't worn down like the other version. I can tell this is thicker rubber than loopbacks so it's understandable why they hold up better too. Overall I like them but not sure we will continue to buy their boots here. They're great with thick socks in the rainy months, but don't keep you warm in the snow. I assumed they wouldn't since they aren't isolated, but just wanted to add this for those who might be interested. They fit as expected, the liner doesn't come out as easily as the looped version so overall I would say these are the best boots for the money.

Pros
  • EASY TO CLEAN | After a day of fun, simply wash off and leave the rubber boots for boys and girls to dry overnight. The simple look protects the boots from stains and dirt and makes them suitable for everyday use. Advanced rubber protects kids' feet from odor while the 100% cotton interior keeps feet perfectly warm. These rubber boots are made for everyday play.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
