I had a CPU fan that was very noisy. It started with silence, then gradually as the computer got warm the fan started working loudly to the point where you thought something was wrong with the computer. I accidentally put my finger on this fan and one of the blades broke so I needed a replacement. When the Nexus fan arrived after installing it on the CPU heatsink and booting the computer, WOW. I couldn't believe it. very quiet and very efficient. I still can't believe what a difference. The fan comes without screws and is also thick ie 70 x 70 x 25mm so 25mm is quite thick. To install the fan I had to use 4 screws that came from an old noisy fan with a bit of heatsink and fan manoeuvres, but if you use your sense of creativity you won't have any problems. The fan pulls air out of the heatsink so it wasn't like my old fan pushing air into the heatsink but to my surprise I found that this type of airflow actually works better for the CPU and keeps it cool. I'm playing a flight simulator and this game requires more CPU than just GPU and yet I can't believe this fan is very good and runs the CPU very well with no noise. I highly recommend this product.
