Product Description is a little misleading - The first part of the product description informs the reader that it is made of velvet and gold coins. The only velvet is a narrow stripe at the top of the belt behind the imitation jewels. The rest of the fabric is very dense, very sheer chiffon. I would have preferred it if it wasn't sheer chiffon. Yes, the description below says it is a high quality chiffon. I'm not entirely sure of the quality as it's very stiff. I think it would be appropriate to include the word "chiffon" in the product name and state "chiffon" instead of velvet in the first part of the product description. Rating update: I wore this belt once. about two hours. I walked and sat on chairs. I carefully placed a cloth napkin on the chair so it wouldn't get caught. However, within two hours a few coins and beads fell from the belt and I could not find them all as some of the beads seemed to have rolled a long distance. It would be nice if these straps came with spare beads and coins for repairs as I hate wearing straps that have parts missing. Disappointed that I had so little time to wear this before taking it off for fear of more coins and beads falling off.
