The cable company installed the coaxial cable. The heads on their cables are short, maybe 1/2 inch. I needed a longer cable, I bought it, but the head was about 1.25 inches long. Unfortunately, my cable port was in a recessed "pocket" on the back of the TV. The head just fitted, but the cable had to be bent an incredible 90 degrees to get it out. So I searched the web for shorter heads and everything was either 1.25" or not listed, but the picture turned out to be long. I finally came across a right angle adapter. It was a little tight when my fat fingers got it tightened but resorted to pliers Problem solved Nervous about adding connections and applying distortion Works great
