Was hoping this would allow me to connect the LED lights above the kitchen cabinets to the section under the cabinets. I had to make 3 wires. After running the wire through my cabinets, I attempted to attach the connectors. You need to separate the 4 wires a bit to match the slots in the connector and then crimp them. Attach the LED strip to the other end. I used the internal non-waterproof version of the LED strip. It doesn't provide a strong bond as the tape is expected to be thicker (the instructions say not to remove the silicone waterproof layer. Yes, I removed the tape as per the instructions. I've tried many things including the adding a pad). On the tape side I was able to get one of the 3 wires to work but only on blue. After I changed the colors, nothing happened. I think it's just luck, I have two wires that need to be connected to turn blue. I thought this will be easier than soldering the wire to the LED strip, but after 2 hours I gave up and i only have lightbulbs left over my cupboards brand maybe if you don't confuse brands that will work?
