Not very useful when my kids use it to support a laptop or tablet when using a desk or desk. This seems redundant as the laptop has an adjustable tilt screen and our tablets have rear stands on their cases. The extra height with raised legs is too much and cannot be reduced as the height of these legs is not adjustable. My kids found this stand more useful on their bed. The flat metal plate of this stand gives the laptop stability on the bed. The additional 6+ inches of height with legs propped up helps make the laptop taller. Limited recommendable.
