There were bad streaks on the back of documents. I began to wonder what it could be. No drum, no transfer ribbon. It turned out that an inferior toner cartridge had filled the waste toner box. I'd empty it somehow, but for the price, it's not hard to avoid the whole mess. There's still a little mark on the front, so I think changing the drum and transfer belt will be next on the list, but that's how it is. looks pretty reasonable. You can run through several hundred sheets to see if it cleans up on its own.
