Brother WT 100CL Waste HL 4040CN HL 4070CDW Review

I've been reading about DIY printer repairs and found that replacing this error can fix my unable to print error on my Brother MFC 9640CDW. I've tried everything else. I bought this WT-100CL toner collector because I read it fixed my Print Unable 32 error " can fix, even though the predecessor still had a lifetime. This new WT-100CL works very well with my Brother laser printer, but it didn't solve my original problem. My printer is MFC-9840CDW. I kept getting the "Print unavailable 32" error which caused all printing to stop. Replacing the excess toner container will eventually be necessary and not that expensive compared to the cost of the Brother printer itself. Replacing the waste toner bottle on the Brother HL4040CDN duplex color laser is easy. With the power off, open the front of the printer as if changing the toner. Pull the photoconductor out until it stops. Take out the drum unit and place it on clean paper on a table. Lift up the old belt unit. It climbs out of this green tab on the front of the seat belt.

OEM part prematurely worn out. The installation instructions were included! The pressure problem disappeared after installing this replacement part. The part fits perfectly in the 12 year old MFC9840CDW which didn't even hiccup before! Back in business without having to buy a new multifunction printer!

I've been using this Brother laser printer for over ten years and have only replaced the cartridges once. I thought the waste toner box might be full when it started working sporadically. These Brother printers are great I have 3 of them one at home works very well for 5 years the other 2 are in the office. Only now, at the age of 5, has he gotten a bit old at home due to a paper jam. Consumables are widely available including spare parts such as drum, belt, waste bin, etc. The price is very good, toners can be purchased at a discount from third party suppliers with regular toners that offer good quality at a reasonable price.
