I bought this car front carrier for my truck. I found the price very high and found it quite unreasonable but given the invention, engineering and practicality I decided I would go for it and hoped it was worth every penny. Unfortunately I'm disappointed. The table is capable of what it is used for; The slider extension works great and holds my laptop or iPad - although it's a little fiddly to reach the table through the center console to loosen or tighten a nut - a minor inconvenience, probably due to the size of my truck. The washer will be sucked to the surface, so you may have to swing the lever to loosen the connection to move it. The folders don't have a rail, they just sit on a plastic lip, which I don't like. To connect the strap you may have to improvise. I connect the hook to the left ring, pull the webbing under the table and pull it back through the seat belt slot, pull it under the underside of the side of the seat and through the front and wrap it towards me to hook the front ring, and then tighten the strap. Then put on the seat belt and tighten it. At the moment I use a rubber band to tighten the top part (chest strap) of the seat belt as it's too high and gets in the way of the files. I'm looking for a better alternative (I think a plug from a worn out car seat will do). The finish is very disappointing, especially considering this table cost $300. The whole bathtub is of poor quality and looks cheap. This product could be improved with a file rail, a lid that prevents files from flying out if you have a window, a compartment door on the right to access everything you need. Put a seat belt connector in the tub to tie down the chest strap, better finishes and a lower price (although with these mods I'd be willing to part with $300 for each of my employees to have a desk in their truck). I would raise this rating if the finish was improved and I felt I got value for money with this product.
