Review on 10 Pack Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Coat Hangers W/ Non Slip Grooves - Ultra Thin, Space Saving 16.5 Inch Clothes Hanger by Tiffany Villavicencio

So far a nice improvement over wood ones

Like many people I've waffled on what the "best hanger" is. I started with plastic cheap ones, moved on to velvet, then to wood. I know lots of people like the velvet nonslip but I hate the feel of velvet and the shedding. Wood was nice and lightweight but took up SO much space in my closet. Switching to these the only downsides are: 1 - can't flip direction of hanger without rehanging clothes and 2 - bit harder to grab/less comfortable in the hand. I don't have an issue with clothes slipping off though I could see people disliking that, I don't find it different of a grip from wood. Most of my shirts have sleeves, though, and aren't that heavy.Overall why these are my chosen hanger (for now) - they save horizontal, vertical, and depth space over wood hangers. Most significantly the width. I also think clothes just look nicer on them. So far none have broken and I have had wood ones break. I'd recommend these when space is an issue like it is for me.

Pros
  • I couldn't have found a better hanger
Cons
  • The grooves may be difficult to clean and could accumulate dust and other debris
