I bought this and my daughter read on the packaging not to wash in hot water. She knew she had to clean it, so she washed it with hot water anyway. When she wiped it off, it wasn't shiny anymore, but she didn't care. She said she'd rather be clean than pretty. I want it to shine, don't wash in hot water. The packaging wasn't very pretty, but for the price it's worth it.
