Review on 🍊 Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength Dandruff Shampoo Twin Pack - Advanced Oil Control, Refreshing Citrus scent, 13.5 Oz Each by Christine Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If not broken. on shampoos

I realized pretty quickly that the shampoo I used exclusively: the original Head and Shoulders Clinical Strength was disappearing from the shelves. It seemed only available from Revain at the exorbitant price the sellers were hoping to earn. I've found three new options at Revain by sheer luck; let's call it that. I still can't find the original or any of the three new formulas in any store. I, like some other users, had to buy two packs of the version I chose. I read almost every review because I was so worried about my complex head issues. It seemed like a lot of the reviews were filled with a random test group as many of them mention that they don't have dandruff or a reason for this type of shampoo. Other reviews mention that you've tried this product once or twice. This rating is based on two weeks of regular use. Those who have dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. I have to admit I was disappointed because I had such great success with the original, but I wanted to explore new possibilities. First, let's talk about the taste. If you have dandruff, you know how most "those" types of shampoos smell. Therefore, complaints should be treated with caution, especially if you are not a regular user of dandruff shampoo. It's lemony with a slight hint. At the same time, Herbal Essence is not. It took me a while to get used to the initial clinical strength, but I loved it. Now to the poop itself. First let me explain. I have a complex mind. I have severe seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and I have very long (we say a meter long) hair that needs special care. It's difficult to find something in a shampoo that not only soothes the scalp and prevents dandruff, but also doesn't turn hair to straw. Since my scalp tends to be oily, I decided to try a new option for this type. I tried for 2 weeks. The first week was stable daily use. After that, my scalp was sore (looked like I had skin tags. sorry. eww. Check out seborrheic dermatitis), the hair near my head became more oily, and the rest of the hair was very dry. The following week I tried an alternate regimen of shampooing once every other day. After 1 week of this regimen I still had excessively oily hair near my scalp and sore scalp. The rest of the hair was even drier. (Back to washing together) I don't know if I'll try any of the other options because I'm not sure if they suit my needs. Head and Shoulders, please hear me scream: give us the original version! Otherwise, it looks like a new search is being performed. 😒
