I bought this air purifier to filter wood and drywall dust after doing a walk in closet renovation. I found the battery useful and planned to leave it on as long as it ran all night to help (I had low expectations but something is better than nothing) to filter out the dust. I used it during the day while working with the dust ACTIVELY BLOWN NEAR THE FILTER. And at the end of the day when I run this thing on the Max through 3 full charges which probably lasted 6-8 hours. The "Hepa" filter inside was 100% clean. Not a speck of dust on it. The fans ran all day, I could hear them. I could feel the air bubbles and apparently I removed the plastic wrap from the filter beforehand. Because this filter was so clean that there was NO DUST IN THE INTAKE (I blew on the opposite side of the filter to make sure the dust wasn't just in folds.) while the fans ran all day, I can only Think of 2 explanations.1. My item is somehow defective. Fans don't blow the air hard enough for some reason.2. This product uses some sort of airflow trick that purports to "clean" the air, but the filter isn't activated carbon, so it doesn't clean air odors, and due to the fact that I was literally dusty throughout the room, it failed to pick up particles to filter at a conceivable level. I have no choice but to request a refund, this product was completely useless, I regret taking the time to plug it in and charge it.
