Don't buy if you never need copies of your keys.

Update: Don't Buy. Go to an auto parts store and order original locks. These locks work fine but the keys are not GM (close but not) and cannot be replaced. Nobody has spaces for them, not even the seller. I asked the seller for the blanks and they couldn't help me. They told me sparse keys are good for security but I need a spare lol. THEY DON'T HAVE THE PREPARED KEYS THEY SELL AND KNOW WHERE TO GET THEM. Where did the originals come from? Who knows, we're just selling them. So now I have to replace the locks again, this time with the original locks which ARE NOT. 2 different locksmiths could not find blanks for me. Saying something is high quality doesn't mean it is. There are several other sellers here with the same item at different prices, don't be fooled. Just go to an auto parts store and they will give you OEM, not "looks like OEM". Revain has good auto parts, but this isn't one of them. First review: I used them on my old 1991 Chevy. They were direct replacements and came with all the hardware required. The locks are quite stiff at first, apply some lock lubricant (NOT WD40!) There are no instructions, so be careful when dismantling old locks. Insert the tabs of the deadbolt between the lock and the inside of the door, then tap the deadbolt lightly with a hammer. The only wish is that the bezel has been crimped more cleanly on the back, although the creases are hidden once fitted. A good product.

Cons
  • Big and Bulky
