55 gallons, 2mm thick. I was trying to find a replacement for the Brute construction bags I usually buy for $12/$17 (0.70/bag). It costs about $22/$50 ($0.44/bag). I use the Brute to rake and sack wet leaves/acorns/small twigs/trash in the yard etc. and fill the bag ½-¾ full or until I can't lift it. I also use them for a bit of shop use, mainly wooden crates/nails/screws/kitchen utensils etc. I was really surprised that they could handle up to 1/2 the full weight of garden waste, but when punctured they were most of the time start breaking. Unlike the Bruces, who pierce, tear, or tear, they rarely do. 3-4 times a year I rake the leaves, etc., I just double them. No problem with the shop. Great replacement for the price and I'll buy it from now on...
