Small size, fits a 2-socket bottom outlet but leaves enough space for the top outlet. I use it under the kitchen sink to plug in the dishwasher while the other outlet is used for garbage disposal and connected to the light switch. This device is easy to use. Just plug it in and connect the device or electronics you want to protect from surges. It's rated at 900 joules, which should be enough for most connected devices. I chose to add a power surge as the lights will dim when the AC is turned on and I've read that this can damage the hardware. Time will tell how it will behave.
