Really good cheap TKL MK

Was looking for a cheap TKL MK with switches that weren't blue, really enjoyed my first MK experience but finally the clicking isn't for everyone. Blacks are much more desirable in terms of feel and sound. Overall it's a good MK, I've replaced the keycaps with a better labeled RedDragon set and since I don't really use the secondary function I don't care which ones increase or decrease the volume or mute the computer. With a foam mod you don't have to remove the switches, which are very difficult to remove with the included remover, but frankly you get a better option in that regard. Just put the caps on the screws, remove them, and then using an old plastic card, start prying off the top of the kb. This allows it to be removed with the circuit board, switches and covers attached. If you are looking for more modifications, such as B. replacing the pins and lubricating the caps, you have to go through the whole process. In the end it's a good KB for the price and for you to start modding oh and by the way the light is white and the sides are rgb so keep that in mind. If you want to "remove" the RGB lights on the sides, on the foam mod, cover the entire bottom and the LEDs so they don't show through, but if you want them to be visible make sure the foam mod is not present does not come. Leave at least a 1/3 inch gap from end to end.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
