The crankcase ventilation is fine - do not use the hoses included in the kit
The crankcase ventilation itself seems fine (time will tell) but the hoses included in the kit are extremely poor quality. Had to take them off again a week later for another independent repair and the clip/connector had already become so brittle it broke (when I squeezed the clip with my hand so it could be removed). Luckily I haven't thrown away the OEM hoses yet. Update: The supplier has been in touch and agreed to resolve the issues encountered - for this reason my rating ranges from 3 to 4 stars.
