Review on ๐Ÿ•น๏ธ FAMILY POCKET 3.0 Inch Handheld Emulator by Yousef Abood

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The performance is good, but the design leaves a lot to be desired.

FAMILY POCKET Fc3000 V2 looks like it could be a good emulation system. They upgraded the processor of the first version and it now contains about 5,000 games. It has a 3.0 inch screen which should be enough for most people. But for many design options it is not suitable. The FAMILY POCKET Fc3000 V2 comes in a retail box with the device, microUSB charging cable, wrist strap and RGB AV cable. , felt drawstring pouch, thank you card and manual The device comes with a sealed cartridge for 130 fake games, but if you remove the cartridge you can play up to 5,000 games. It supports Sega SG-1000, Game Gear Games, Master System, Mega Drive, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, NES, SNES, Capcom System 1 and NeoGeo as well as Standard D-Pad, ABXY, Select/Start, L1/R1, Menu, performance and volume. It also comes with BL-5C 1800mAh battery or 3xAAA options. It only takes a few seconds to turn on the device. There are 130 general style games and they play well. To expand the game list you need to open the device and remove the GBA sized game cartridge overlap system. To do this, you need to remove the entire back panel or replace the batteries. This is very difficult with large hands and requires quite a bit of force or some kind of soft plastic to lift the back end. It's a complicated process and I'm really skeptical about the design choice. 3.0 inch TFT screen is of poor quality. Although the image is straight, viewing angles are narrow and blur quickly. Also, the L1/R1 buttons are placed too far in the rear center and flush with the device, requiring long fingers to reach and use them - odd for a system aimed at kids. The direct layout of the keys makes moving your thumb from one key to another more tedious than it should be. Using the menu is fast and responsive. Gaming performance was also good, even with NeoGeo and SNES games. The game selection menu was also clean, but the game names are only 13 characters long. Saved games are also not supported, but saves are saved. good enough to justify the bad.

Pros
  • Free 5000+ Classic Games
Cons
  • boring packaging
