It's fun. And the results were really good, even after my first try. First I watched some videos and tried it. I started with freshly washed and dried hair. I apply a heat protectant and some of the cream I normally use to straighten my curls just to add extra shine to my curls. It ripples FAST. Don't leave the hair on the stem for more than a few seconds. Immediately after wrapping the tip around the trunk, after two seconds release it. I noticed that another reviewer mentioned that her hair got tangled. It only sticks if you have a damp product on your hair or if you leave the curl on for too long. But overall I like it very much. It heats up very quickly and creates tight curls like I did with perms in high school. I don't really like big curls, so I rarely use a curling iron. This works perfectly for me. I have very fine hair that needs a lot of body. And there's definitely a lot of volume. I will probably use this often.
