This is an EXCELLENT paper. It is smooth, easy to handle, easy to cut and its weight and color are ideal for vintage steamship restoration. I have an old steam chest from the 1890's that I am restoring. Ordinary kraft paper is too dark and thick for this purpose. I wanted to duplicate the old paper liner of the trunk and the paper is exactly the same as the 1890 paper liner. It bonded very well with the 3M 45 spray adhesive and was completely smooth. I recommend this paper for steamboat hull restoration!
