Review on 🐟 Water Resistant NorCross HawkEye FF3300PX Fishfinder with 1.13-Inch Display by Barton Perez

Good idea, but poorly executed.

I have had 3 of these units in the last 2 years since my first purchase. Now I don't have any of these after finally giving up on product and customer service and trashing the latest version of the product. Although the product is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, it just doesn't work. It is easily confused with the thermocline and underwater vegetation. Block programming does not allow sorting the difference between thermocline, vegetation and fish. Also, the symbol-based representation of fish and stone prevents the user from being able to circumvent this by interpreting the "real" image. Having received some complaints about this, the company responded by changing the program and sending me a new device. It seemed to show some improvement depending on the transparency of the water, but unfortunately it stopped working on the first exit. Then they replaced it with device number 3, an updated device programmed to display depth and temperature in metric units. It seemed to show some hope for work, so I decided to live with the metric system. This was fixed during the second walk when a raindrop killed him. I could go back to customer service which is quite friendly but after spending far more time dealing with a faulty product than actually using it I decided it would be wiser to throw the trash out. Save yourself the headache. It seems to be another example of a product being launched and released before it was finished.
