I would like to start by saying that I actually find the design of this chair very new and my review is not based on the chair not being used as I would like. Rather, my problem is that the materials used to make this chair were poor and broke easily. I may have been lucky or unlucky, but I'm disappointed with what I have now. There is a seat angle adjuster on the bar under the seat cushion. This part was made from a pan and broke off almost immediately. For me, this happened after just two days of use and was pretty disheartening, but not the worst. However, after this damage was done, the ischium now makes a very harsh grinding and scraping noise, even when the seat is rotated without weight. Also, the seat doesn't go up or down without that scratch, which makes me worried about using the chair at all. I've tried using PFPE fluorogrease to mitigate this but to no avail. I really wish I could get this chair working again because I really liked the feel and joy of using the chair, but I can't recommend it based on my unconfirmed experience. with this product.
