Reviews unclear. This product only works with Roku. It only works with SlingTV if you have Roku. If you don't have Roku, you won't get channels on your SlingTV app. I have a Roku Ultra, selecting an over-the-air channel causes the SlingTV app to freeze 50% of the time. You'll need to return to the Roku home screen and reload the SlingTV app. I would think any SlingTV app would be able to access the channels on any device. NO. Roku app only. Only on the Roku, which is the only device that can access channels from AirTV 2, the manual for all channels found through the antenna says "No information available for this channel." You set up AirTV 2 using either an Android phone or an iPhone with the SlingTV app on that phone. I set up AirTV 2 on my iPhone. Channels AirTV 2 finds do not appear in the SlingTV app guide on iPhone. The only way to watch these channels is to go to Roku. They appear at the bottom of the list on your Roku device in the SlingTV app. AirTV 2 tech support didn't know about this, but when I called SlingTV tech support, they told me the channels are only available through the SlingTV app on Roku. Did I mention that the only way to access channels is by using the SlingTV app on a Roku device? Did I mention that when accessing these channels, the SlingTV app on Roku Ultra freezes 50% of the time and forces you back to the home screen? It would be nice if these two main points were highlighted somewhere in the product. So yes, the product does what it promises. There are no instructions, it isn't (on my market?). If you don't mind restarting the SlingTV app on Roku every time you want to change channels. In my honest opinion, it's better to just connect the antenna directly to the TV and change the inputs. Less frustration and no constant traffic jams. I spent $99 on AirTV 2 and got $25 in SlingTV credit. The time I spent restarting the SlingTV app on Roku and wondering why I can't see the channels in the guide in the SlingTV app on my iPhone. Pure waste of a good product idea. All in all, I would not recommend this product to anyone. In fact, I wouldn't feel comfortable selling this used product to someone on eBay. I consider it my duty to bring Sledgehammer to AirTV 2. But I won't. It is unplugged and left in the attic for about a year. I will try again next Christmas in hopes that they will fix some issues with updates and support. Because I really want this product to work. I also want a real, up-to-date A LA CARTA television. Maybe one day.
