When you buy this item you will receive table parts. You as a buyer have to put everything together so that you actually have a desk. This product is of no value if you can't assemble it properly, so this review focuses primarily on the building process. Firstly, I do not recommend that you purchase this product if you are a) out of shape, b) over a "certain age", c) impatient, or d) not mechanically inclined. I fall into all of those categories, and while I've successfully built this thing, it's been a pathetic process. If you are purchasing this "do it yourself kit" I recommend the following: 1. Make sure you have written instructions. Without them it is impossible to assemble the parts. They show the alignment and relationship between the parts, and that's very important.2. Be sure to check out the How To Do It video on Revain. You can find similar videos on other platforms but none of them are correct. I watched this video over and over to install the correct screws and the correct parts in the correct order.3. Please refer to the written instructions and videos before building. If you don't, God will help you.4. Much of desktop assembly involves driving wood screws. Be careful not to overtighten, because if you do, the screw will break the wood, fall out, and compromise the integrity of the structure. Would you like a flexible table? Draw. Oh, and don't use power tools. The reason you know is overtightened.5. There are a lot of parts to unpack. I mean a million pieces. Expand and fix them all before you build them. Some screws (such as keyboard tray screws) are unmarked. The video can help show you which ones to use. When I installed it, I was missing 2 screws. I took the numbers from the video (the ones I needed weren't marked) and bought what I needed at a hardware store.6. Make sure you have a bench or table to work with. This greatly simplified some parts of the assembly. The parts are heavy so make sure someone is nearby to help you lift.7. I have a college degree and have been working for decades, but it took me a good 3 hours to put it all together. The documentation says it should take 15 minutes. That's actually my biggest complaint. I'd rather pay for a pre-made table than spend 3 hours on it. Ultimately it would be better and cheaper for me.8. And the last is the seating position. The device that lowers and raises the table may need to be calibrated before it will work properly. Refer to the written instructions in the Troubleshooting section for the calibration process. It's a simple process, but it's not noted in the build process or video. is that a good table Of course. I was able to successfully put the thing back together and it hasn't fallen apart yet. Note, however, that a significant portion of the cost comes from assembly.
